Stevens & Wilkinson, a full-service architecture, engineering, and interior design firm, with offices located in downtown Atlanta and Columbia, S.C., are proud to announce the appointment of Janice Wittschiebe, AIA, NCIQ, LEED, AP, principal and vice president, to the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Her term begins July 1, 2018.

The Board of Trustees works within the Georgia Tech Foundation to ensure the organization’s mission to “manage gifts given in support of academic excellence in the spirit and traditions,” of the university. Wittschiebe will be joining 44 other notable alumni for the duration of her upcoming four-year term.

Receiving both her Bachelors of Science in Architecture (1978) and Masters of Science in Architecture (1980) from Georgia Tech’s College of Architecture, Wittschiebe is excited to work with the university’s Board of Trustees on a number of projects that will only foster the mission and vision of the entire institution.

“To learn that I was being considered to join this prestigious Board was an honor in and of itself,” states Wittschiebe. “But, to actually be selected as a member of the Board of Trustees, a Board that I both admire and respect, is truly special. I am extremely excited to begin my term and work with board members as we search for ways to continue to uplift the Georgia Tech mission, promote academic excellence, address critical global challenges, and encourage technological innovation.”

Receiving both her Bachelors of Science (1978) and Masters of Science (1980) from Georgia Tech’s College of Architecture, Wittschiebe has development a burgeoning career in project design and management for more than 30 years. In recent years, she has also served on Georgia Tech’s College of Design Alumni Advisory Committee.
