New Community Center

Overlooking the lake at Rhodes Jordan Park, the new community center is anchored by the gymnasium and the community room, which weaves the low support fabric of offices, classrooms and service spaces.

Serving As a 'Beacon of Light'

The building spine is a 15-foot tall clerestory lit hallway, allowing natural light in during the day and serving as a beacon in the park at night. The winged roof of the community room is repeated at the pool house, where oscillating canopies enliven the connection between community center and leisure pool.

The Rhodes Jordan Community Center and Pool facility is a 25,000-square foot structure that overlooks the lake at Rhodes Jordan Park.
