Utilizing An Existing Park

The Bunten Road Recreational Activities Building is located in an existing park in the City of Duluth. Visitors enter between the two wings of the building – gymnasium to one side, programmed activities to the other and a soaring wall of glass straight ahead.

Inviting Nature & Multi-Purpose Program

At 28,900 square feet, the program includes a gymnasium, offices, multi-purpose room, senior’s activity room, teen room and a small police precinct. The sleek metal skin provides a counterpoint to the weighty masonry base on the wings of the building. The tough exterior with open, airy interior reflects the disciplined yet inviting nature of this multipurpose program.

Located in an existing park in the City of Duluth, Georgia, the new Bunten Road Recreational Center features two wings with a gymnasium, senior’s activity room, multi-purpose room, and administrative offices.
