Stevens & Wilkinson, a 100+ year-old Architecture, Engineering, and Interior Design firm based in the downtown Atlanta area, is seeking an Industrial Market Engineering Business Developer for their Atlanta, GA office.

This Developer should have their own existing client base and/or project leads. They should have a presence in the Industrial market already, and a plan to grow that presence consistent with Stevens & Wilkinson’s strategic plan.

Duties

  • Strategy and overall office leadership, though much time should be spent following leads
  • Participate with the Principals in developing a strategy for marketing the firm’s mechanical, structural, plumbing, and electrical capabilities with respect to the Industrial Market
  • Coordination with existing Department leader to anticipate and identify specific needs in the group
  • Initiate recruitment efforts as necessary to grow the industrial market
  • Identify training and continuing education needs, and take the lead in providing programs to meet them within the Industrial Sector

Educational/Work Experience Requirements

  • Accredited degree in engineering – BSME, BSEE, etc.
  • Professional engineering registration required
  • Minimum of 7 to 15 years of engineering practice, which includes 3-5 years of business development
  • Extensive experience in the design of systems consistent with engineering specialty
  • Participation in the implementation of marketing plans and strategies
  • Visibility within the civic, business, and professional communities
