Aaron is a graduate of the Georgia Tech MArch Program where he also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant for three years. Professionally he has over four years of experience spanning all project phases and involving multiple program types. He is proficient in Revit, Vasari, AutoCAD, 3ds Max Design, Rhino, Sketchup, Vray, Photoshop, and Illustrator for design, production and presentation. Aaron’s recent work involves master planning, commercial, office and historic preservation/stabilization.
Aaron is an experienced Structural Engineer, with projects ranging from residential to commercial and industrial. He works closely with the project team in developing structurally sound designs to meet the project’s goals and design intent. Aaron utilizes the latest structural engineering design tools including BIM-Revit; Bentley Structural, as well as Ramsteel, Adapt, and RISA 3D. Aaron seamlessly provides project oversight, guidance and feedback for the work of project design engineers and production staff. In his free time, Aaron enjoys playing tennis, camping and traveling.
Adriane is an enthusiastic Architect with experience working on projects in the Higher Education, Cultural and Healthcare market sectors. As Project Architect, Adriane’s responsibilities include project management, construction administration, design, and the production of construction documents. Her passion for problem-solving coupled with her strong ability to always find the very best architectural solutions for her clients is what makes Adriane such a great project manager. A graduate of Ball State University’s Honors College, Adriane holds two degrees – a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design. An active member in the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects, Adriane is heavily involved in professional development groups likeToastmasters, Women in Architecture and the Culturettes, a group that focuses on promoting art events in the Columbia area.
Angela is an integral part of the Stevens & Wilkinson team and is responsible for all aspects of interior design including programming, construction documents, and specifications. Angela specializes in color and finish selections as well as furniture installation for clients in the K-12, government and cultural sectors. A graduate of Clemson University, Angela has a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Design.
Aaron is part of the electrical engineering team in the Atlanta Office. He works closely with the project team and incorporates the most current codes and industry standards to ensure a safe and efficient electrical system.
Barry brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in construction documentation and construction site management. As an Architectural Technician, Barry specializes in 3D Revit production for projects in the firm’s educational, industrial, healthcare, and retail sectors. Barry’s understanding of CAD and BIM modeling software, submittals and contractor/owner communications makes him a vital member of Stevens & Wilkinson’s South Carolina team. When Barry is not hard at work, you can find him spending time with his family, hunting or playing various musical instruments like the mandolin and guitar.
As President of the Atlanta office, Bill leads Stevens & Wilkinson’s project teams and guides the project process for the firm’s education, state and federal work. He brings over 37 years of architectural experience as well as a Master in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. The range of his knowledge covers the spectrum of project types and includes cultural, higher education, government, K-12, adaptive reuse/preservation, higher education, government and office and corporate spaces. He is exceptionally skilled at maintaining a high level of communication with client decision-makers.
In addition to being a noted Rotarian, Bill is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and participates with various organizations such as the Georgia Association of State Facility Planners, The Council of Educational Facility Planners and the Construction Owners Association of America.
Bill brings a wealth of experience to our staff and has been involved in a variety of project types throughout his career. Bill serves as the single point of communication between the client and the project team. He assumes primary responsibility for the overall coordination of the project including all design and construction phases to ensure schedules, budgets and quality assurance goals are always being met. With over 30 years of experience in the architectural industry, Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Design and a Master of Architecture from Clemson University.
Bill brings an unparalleled level of expertise, passion and leadership to his projects. He has professional experience in all phases of planning, design, production and contract administration for a variety of project types including education, transportation, master planning, and sustainable design. His management skills allow him to work with owners, user groups, staff and consultants to develop appropriate and successful design solutions. Bill is an NCARB-certified registered architect and LEED accredited professional and as associate brings leadership skills to every project.
Bob brings over 40 years of experience as an architect to each project. He is responsible for overseeing the construction administration phase services of Stevens & Wilkinson, as well as coordinating communication efforts between owner’s representatives and the construction professional. Bob monitors projects for construction document compliance and initiates document revisions, project reviews and processes change orders.
Bob New brings over 30 years of design chops to the Stevens & Wilkinson team. A certified Professional Engineer in both Georgia and North Carolina, Bob possesses a wide range of project experience that includes higher educational buildings, elementary schools to high schools, governmental facilities, medical facilities, urban development projects, multi-use facilities, hospitality facilities, industrial and manufacturing facilities, shopping centers, warehouses, and restaurant facilities. In addition, he serves as senior project manager for a multitude of projects, ensuring that high quality standards are maintained at all times. A patient problem solver, Bob is adept at developing details and generation of sketches, addressing unique challenges on projects. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University.
Bobby established the South Carolina office of Stevens & Wilkinson in 1978. Now Chairman Emeritus of the Board, Bobby is the Architect of Record for more than $3 billion of in-place architecture. He offers an in-depth understanding of the construction and development industries and continues to be personally and actively involved in every project undertaken in the firm’s South Carolina office.
Brenda is an accomplished Interior Designer that brings a fresh perspective to Stevens & Wilkinson’s Administrative efforts. She manages the front office and assists with architectural and engineering project documents. Due to her extensive creative and practical approach knowledge in the industry, she is a respected consultant within our firm.
Briana brings extensive management and administrative skills to Stevens & Wilkinson. With a high-attention to detail, Briana works with our contract administration director as well as the architectural, engineering departments and sub-consultants to ensure that all contract administration objectives are met. Briana studied marketing at Zhengzhou University in China where she received a minor in marketing. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Sciences from Georgia State University. In her free time, Briana likes to travel and enjoys spending time with family and listening to music.
Charlie is responsible for all plumbing Cad in the Atlanta office. With over 30 years of experience as a mechanical designer, Charlie has an excellent design eye and extensive experience with Bently Cad programs. Charlie has worked closely with a wide range of projects types including K-12 Education, Higher Education, Healthcare, Cultural and Urban Development. In his free time, Charlie enjoys Civil War relic hunting, Braves baseball and spending weekends at the lake.
Chris has served as the Lead Mechanical Engineer for many federal facilities, including single and joint use Reserve Centers throughout the United States. He has designed HVAC and plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary, natural gas, compressed air and roof drainage systems. As an accredited LEED Professional, he has guided project teams through the LEED certification process, with the highest achievement being LEED Silver Certification. Chris is also an expert in the fields of forensic investigation, hurricane damage assessment, energy modeling, site surveying/mapping, and ground water sampling/monitoring. Chris’ strong attention to detail and ability to acquire new skills quickly are contributing factors to his success.
Christine is an expert in programming, space planning, project discipline coordination, construction documentation and furniture detailing. She has extensive experience creating supportive, healing designs for healthcare projects across the country. With a thorough understanding of the challenges involved in designing for a wide range of facility types, Christine expertly incorporates positive design principles that lead to better built environments in each of her projects. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Appalachian State University and is actively involved in the International Interior Design Association.
Dan provides extensive design experience in Revit for a building’s power, lighting and systems services. He also brings a wide variety of experience in sectors including workplace, K-12, hospitality and restaurants. Outside of work, Dan enjoys international traveling, hiking and meditation.
David has been the structural engineer of record for a variety of project types including commercial, industrial, healthcare, K-12 education, higher education, institutional, pedestrian bridge and residential structures along the east coast – including high wind and seismic regions. He is proficient in the use of computerized structural analysis and design programs and has developed structural construction documents using Autodesk CAD and BIM software. He has designed structures with various materials including hot–rolled steel, concrete, masonry, wood and light gauge steel. He has also been responsible for structural designs from conceptual layout through construction administration. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, David has a Masters of Science in Civil and Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. When David is not hard at work, you can find him enjoying time with his family, running and woodworking.
Dee’s expertise in architectural project drawings, construction administration, permitting and Revit training make her an assist to the architecture department. She has experience in Corporate, K-12, Hospitality, Warehouse and Retail markets. Her outside interests include genealogy, crafting, digital photography and dogs.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Eric provides mechanical engineering services to the firm’s South Carolina office. His responsibilities include designing specifications, completing construction documents, meeting with clients and designing and drafting plumbing, HVAC and fire protection systems for clients primarily in the K-12, higher education sector and healthcare sector.
Eric brings a wide array of experience in Mechanical Design to the firm’s Engineering Division in South Carolina. Working in concert with the Director of Mechanical Engineering, Eric’s responsibilities include designing specifications, completing construction documents, meeting with clients and designing and drafting complex plumbing, HVAC and fire protection systems. A LEED accredited professional and an active ASHRAE member, Eric graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Evan is a graduate of Clemson University with a Master of Science in civil engineering. Evan brings sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of dedication to each project he works on. He has experience in reviewing and coordinating structural designs and correspondence with architects on projects.
Guido brings a wealth of knowledge in creating electrical engineering designs for mixed-use, hospitality, corporate, medical and retail projects. His extensive experience working on LEED projects embeds energy conscious practices into every system he designs. Guido received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, landscaping and brewing beer.
Jackie Pierce is a graduate of Anderson University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. Passionate about the organization and aesthetic design of spaces, Jackie hopes to take the NCIDQ in order to become licensed as a professional Interior Designer. With prior experience working with furniture retailers, Jackie joins Stevens & Wilkinson with a strong understanding of the interiors and furniture market.
Jae combines his extensive architectural design experience with his impressive Bachelor of Science in Arts and Design along with a Master of Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At Stevens & Wilkinson, he works with clients and the design team throughout each project to develop functional and responsive designs. Jae has provided his architectural design expertise to the healthcare market. Jae establishes and maintains project schedules, ensuring maximum efficiency from project start through completion. His adaptability, wide range of experience, and meticulous attention to detail make Jae a master at solving project solutions and tailoring approaches to adjust to the needs of each client.
Jane is an accomplished interior designer who provides personalized design services for a wide range of project markets. Her goal is to provide the client with a product that will best suit their needs and goals. Jane’s special attention to style and functionality compliment her detailed attention to the design, planning and construction phases of each project. Jane has significant experience with code review on various project types. Jane is a LEED AP Interior Design and Construction accredited professional. She was invited by the USGBC to participate in the Standard Setting process for the new USGBC Interior Design + Construction credentialing exam and has a deep understanding of sustainable design in interiors. Jane continues to pursue her interests in architectural renderings and watercolor painting, often taking inspiration from her travels abroad.
Janice has been providing professional services for over 30 years as a project designer, project manager and principal for multi-faceted projects. As a registered architect, interior designer and LEED accredited professional, she brings a wide range of abilities and understanding to projects and the company. Janice’s talent for compiling a design team that works well together to meet the client’s needs is unparalleled. Her ability to negotiate contracts, contract administration and manage the project throughout each phase, helps ensure the project stays within budget and is delivered on-time.
In addition, Janice is passionately involved in the community. She devotes significant time to a number of professional and non-profit organizations, concentrating on professional development and leadership as well as mentoring students, interns and colleagues in the profession. She is also very active with her alma mater, Georgia Institute of Technology. She has served on a wide range of boards from the Board of Trustees to search committees for the dean of the College of Architecture.
Jason is an instrumental part of the architectural design team and brings a strong sense of organization and attention to detail to each project. Jason’s experience includes university and public school facilities, master planning, multi-family housing, and schematic development for live-work communities. Jason’s design philosophy aims at capturing the experience of space in contemporary forms and forms suggesting a historic context. With his creative energy, Jason establishes excellent professional relationships with co-workers, consultants and building officials. Jason’s production and technical abilities make him a valuable resource for QC/QA reviews. As a document reviewer, he identifies code, technical, and coordination issues for projects, ensuring successful project delivery. In his spare time, Jason spends time with his two children and enjoys running and has completed one marathon and several half-marathons.
Jessica is a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor of architecture. Her sharp eye for design and composition attributes to her experience with design and document development and construction administration for architectural and interior design projects. Her design skills expand outside of the office to include painting, sketching and sculpting.
James’ responsibilities include electrical design, the development of CADD construction documents, job site inspections and 3-D graphics. Throughout his career, James has worked on a number of projects in the healthcare, government, corporate, higher education, and K-12 sectors, thus making him a valuable asset to the firm. A graduate of Midlands Technical College, James enjoys photography, traveling and motorcycle riding.
Joanna is an experienced architect nationally and internationally. As a Revit Architecture Certified Professional, she effectively utilizes Revit software in programming studies, conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documents phases. Her extensive experience also includes being well-versed in AutoCAD, SketchUp, code research and compliance, project detailing and specification coordination.
John is responsible for directing architectural design to ensure that it fully meets all functional, budgetary, schedule and aesthetic goals. A mastermind at conceptual design thinking and sketching, he brings over 30 years of experience to the Stevens & Wilkinson team along with a wide array of expertise in the higher education, urban development and cultural project types. John holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. John is actively involved in the community and the architecture industry, contributing his architectural expertise on numerous committees and boards. He currently serves on the Advisory Committee for the Georgia State Construction Manual and is the subcommittee chair for Project Implementation. John is also a member emeritus of the Facility Advisory Board for the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.
John is a professional Architect with over 30 years of expereince. Early in his career John was the Project Architect / Project Manager on several Healthcare projects from Programming through the Construction Administration phases. Over the last ten years, John has managed project teams bringing together all three design specialties on five academic / medical campus design projects. Three of these projects were international and four of these campuses are under construction or have been completed. John is currently working on the Georgia State University College of Law. When not working, John enjoys running and spending time with his two young boys as well as home renovation projects.
John is an experienced architect in all stages of developing quality projects for both public and private clients. His ability to lead diverse team members while focusing efforts towards a successful project outcome is an asset. In addition, John has a strong technical understanding of construction and detailing.
Some of John’s outside interests include automobile restoration, microcontroller programming, CNC Machines and John also organizes the Georgia Tech Auto Show.
Jonathan is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University, where he received his Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in construction management. Jonathan brings enthusiasm and creativity to each project he works on. Jonathan works closely with the client and generates deliverables in a timely manner. He is proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop. Jonathan’s recent work involves site planning and 3-D modeling for K-12 education. When he is not working, Jonathan enjoys taking part in mission trips, volunteering his time to different ministries, hiking and fishing.
Josef is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Masters of Architecture. He has an innate ability to communicate design aesthetics to his colleagues and clients ensuring they understand the big picture. He works closely with the architectural team to create design and construction documents. Outside of work, Josef enjoys coding and parametric modeling as well as sports including basketball, soccer and ultimate frisbee.
Judy has over 40 years of experience working in the Architectural and Engineering industry. As the go to person for all office related concerns, Judy’s strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills enables her to successfully manage all office operations, meetings and in-house professional development opportunities.
Keith joined Stevens & Wilkinson after graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. As Principal and Director of Engineering, Keith is responsible for managing the firm’s electrical, mechanical, structural and civil engineering departments in the firm’s South Carolina office. Working in concert with the architectural division of Stevens & Wilkinson, Keith oversees the production of projects totaling more than $100 million in construction a year.
Keith is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University with a Bachelors in Architecture and minor in Business Administration. He works with the architectural team to produce construction documents, diagrams and graphic visuals with Revit and AutoCAD. Outside of work, Keith enjoys fishing, hiking and traveling.
Ken provides project leadership and design expertise from project inception through completion. He is an expert in creating electrical engineering design for telecommunications systems, security systems including CCTV and access control, as well as fire alarm, power, grounding, lighting and lightning protection. In addition, Ken’s unique registration as a RCDD allows him to provide engineering design for voice/data cabling. As a LEED AP, Ken embeds energy conscious principles and practices into every system he designs. Ken received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Kevin brings a wealth of civil engineering knowledge to the Stevens & Wilkinson family, ranging from small residential to large commercial projects. His broad range of experience includes Land Planning/Design of Infrastructure Systems (Storm Water, Sanitary Sewer, Water Distribution) and Roadway Design, as well as quality control of production documents. A LEED accredited professional and registered engineer in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Citadel. He is also an active member of the United States Air Force Reserve and the Society of American Military Engineers.
Kevin is an experienced plumbing designer with expertise in the commercial, entertainment, aviation, medical and education markets. He is skilled in Revit, ACAD, Microstration and enjoys client interaction and consulting. Outside of work, Kevin is interested in fishing, traveling and spending time with his sons.
Kirk has built a reputation for his ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with owners. He maintains business development, management and production to ensure success of K-12 education projects. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Georgia Tech.
A graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University, Ladi provides mechanical engineering services for the firm. He brings sharp integrity and a strong sense of dedication to each project he works on. He provides experience in corporate, workplace, K-12, higher education, restaurants and multi-use facilities. When not working, Ladi enjoys playing soccer, exercising and cycling.
Larry is a talented structural engineer with over 30 years of experience. Larry specializes in steel construction, concrete construction and wood construction and has worked on a wide range of project types including but not limited to higher education, healthcare, government and K-12 education. Larry’s upbeat attitude and exceptional work ethic make him a key player on each project he works on. When not working, Larry enjoys walking his dog in the park, cooking and jazz music.
Laura is a dynamic and energetic associate dedicated to client satisfaction. Laura has a strong and involved working relationship with each of her clients and effectively works with contractors to maintain an efficient construction schedule. She predominately works in urban development and adaptive reuse mixed-use projects. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time outdoors: hiking, running and playing intramural sports as well as painting and sketching and playing trivia and games.
Lauretta is an asset to our accounting department. With over 30 years of experience, she handles project reporting & analysis, billing and A/R budgets. Outside of work, she enjoys weight resistance training, jogging and dancing.
Lee Morris is General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer for Stevens & Wilkinson. A CPA and attorney with degrees from Duke University and Emory University School of Law, Lee served on the Atlanta City Council for eight years, where he was an outspoken critic of corruption and waste in government, a proponent of stronger environmental policy, new urbanism, alternatives to automobile-oriented policies and campaign finance reform. He honored his pledge not to serve more than two terms by stepping down at the end of December 2001. In a unique approach to campaign fundraising, during each of his campaigns he limited the contribution of any donor to $100, and refused to accept contributions during the term of office.
He currently serves on the boards of the Georgia Public Defenders Standards Council as the appointee of the Lieutenant Governor, Literacy Action, PEDS (Pedestrians Educating Drivers on Safety, Inc.), the Park at St. Luke’s, the State Bar of Georgia’s Bar Center Committee, and has previously served on the boards of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority as the Governor’s appointee, the Civic League for Regional Atlanta (chair), the Regional Leadership Forum (chair), the Atlanta Urban League, the Atlanta Metro Group, Midtown Alliance, The Galloway School, Common Cause GA, the Brookwood Alliance, Transition House, Inc., the Piedmont Park Conservancy, the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, the Buckhead Community Improvement District, the Midtown Improvement District, the Fairlie-Poplar Task Force, the Atlanta Bar Association and the Emory University Board of Visitors, among others.
He has been active for over thirty-five years in his church, St. Dunstan’s Episcopal, having served various terms and at various times as vestryman, treasurer, youth advisor, Sunday School teacher, choir member, occasional soloist and guitarist, and in many other roles. He and his wife Gilda have three grown children and three grandchildren.
Linda is a valuable member of the Stevens & Wilkinson team with over 30 years of experience providing services in programming, master planning, design, and construction administration. Having recently joined the Stevens & Wilkinson team in South Carolina, Linda’s design experience includes managing teams for K-12 facilities, hotels, corporate and retail venues, and municipal, county and industrial buildings.
Lori is grateful to be part of the Stevens and Wilkinson team. She has over 25 years of experience of accomplished responsibilities in both the corporate as well as non-profit sectors of the work force and is proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, social media management, organization and time management. Lori and her husband David have 6 children and enjoy working together through their church and local sports league to make a difference in the lives of families in their communities.
Marcus’ background is in the science and technology market sector where he has worked on several high technology labs with a focus on chemical containment, including work for the federal government, institutional labs and office buildings. Marcus is skilled in multiple BIM software packages including Archicad, Revit, Navisworks and Solidworks. Some of his laboratory design includes work for national clients such as National Institutes of Health, CDC, USAMRIID and research universities focusing on high containment diagnostics and research in bio-defense and infectious disease research. When Marcus is not busy at work, he enjoys being with family and his 4 children, enjoying life and is pursuing his passion for car restoration.
Through his expertise, continuing education and security system experience, Mark is an invaluable asset to our senior electrical engineering staff, here, at Stevens & Wilkinson. In addition to basic security systems, his project experience includes card access security systems, closed circuit TV and intercom systems, sound reinforcement systems and fire alarm systems. Mark is a proud University of South Carolina alum, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Matthew is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he received his bachelor of science in Aerospace Engineering. As a member of the Engineering Studio, his responsibilities include mechanical design, loads and specification for a variety of project types including corporate workplace, hospitality and mixed-use. Matthew is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
Maya is a recent graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture and a minor in Spanish. She is an active member of the National Organization of Minority Architects and the American Institute of Architects. Her hobbies include digital and physical model-making, playing soccer, swimming, traveling and spending time with her family.
Melissa is proficient in several CAD software packages including AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit and Bentley Architecture. She is adept at preparing and completing construction documents for projects ranging in size from 10,000 square feet to over one million square feet. Melissa successfully works with the project team to ensure that the client’s goals and objectives and design intent are met. She also enjoys practicing yoga, cooking and sewing when not at work.
Michelle is experienced in structural design, the development of specifications, CADD construction documents and job site contract administration. Having worked on a number of projects in the corporate, K-12, higher education, and healthcare sectors, Michelle is a registered engineer in South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia and is a LEED BD+C accredited professional.
Active in the local chapters of the National Society of Professional Engineers (Chapter Director), Structural Engineers Association (Chapter President), American Society of Civil Engineers, and the American Institute of Steel Construction, Michelle has worked on a number of marque projects during her time at Stevens & Wilkinson – projects that include the James E. Clyburn Research Center at the Medical University of South Carolina, Colonial Life Arena and the University of South Carolina’s new Darla Moore School of Business.
A graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Michelle has her Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Thoroughly versed in all phases of mechanical project development, Mike is an expert in the areas of education, healthcare, government, and office design. Mike’s mastery of client relations as well as the ability to create detailed designs across multiple platforms serves him well in creating high-performance reliable engineering systems. His attention to detail allows him to minimize RFI’s and meet even the tightest deadlines. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.
Miriam is a talented architect and interior designer with over 30 years of experience. She provides expertise in project management and design of complex projects and has extensive experience in the hospitality, corporate and medical markets. Her outside interests include reading, photography, walking and cycling.
Namrata is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Masters in Architecture. She works closely with the architectural team to create design and construction documents. She is proficient in Revit and Sketchup for design, production and presentations. Perry is a results-oriented and highly-motivated senior architect with over 30 years of experience. He has expertise in all aspects of architectural design, construction document implementation and construction administration. He has experience in the field of health care facility design specializing in hospitals and medical office buildings with secondary and higher education, call centers, government facilities and other commercial projects. Perry’s knowledge of materials and construction and his attention to details have gained him accolades by clients, owners, contractors, consultants, engineers and fellow co-workers. Outside of work, Perry enjoys home improvement projects and yard work and cheering on his alma mater the Auburn Tigers.
Phil approaches each project with a collaborative spirit and clear communication. Phil has extensive Revit experience which he has shared with both architecture and engineering staff. He participates in all phases of a project from marketing and pre-design through all design phases, contract documents and construction contract administration support. He also participates in the building design and coordinates efforts between consultants and engineers. His expertise covers a wide range from renovation to new construction for a variety of project types including schools, hospitality, institutional, as well as master planning. Phil is a member of Leadership DeKalb and in his free time, Phil volunteers for organizations in which his children are involved in including Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. He also enjoys reading theology and preaching.
Randall has worked on a broad range of project types since graduating from Auburn University’s College of Architecture, Design and Construction. Since joining the firm as an Architectural Intern in 2013, Randall has worked on a number of projects in the K-12, higher education and healthcare sector.
Randall is extremely proficient in design and modeling programs like BIM/Revit, and has worked on a number of Design-Build and Rural Studio projects, prior to joining the firm’s architectural division. His knowledge of technology and his ability to think outside of the box to develop create drawings and visualizations that best suit the needs of the client are what make him a strong team member.
Rich has extensive experience on a wide variety of project types. He has served in the role of both staff and project architect on projects from preliminary through construction administration phases. Rich has extensive experience in a wide variety of projects that include, higher education, hospitality, government and adaptive reuse/historic preservation. Rich brings creative solutions to project design and is fluent in AutoCAD and Revit BIM 3D Modeling programs. Rich enjoys traveling with family, photography and the outdoors when he is not at work.
With a degree from Auburn University, Richard brings experience and expertise in accounting. Richard manages the accounting department with a high level of organization and attention to detail. In addition to managing the day-to-day financial business of S&W with accuracy and timeliness, he is responsible for providing guidance to management, project reporting, invoicing and the coordination of consultants. Richard is an instrumental part of the Stevens & Wilkinson team, his outside interests include cooking, especially grilling on the Big Green Egg and cheering on his alma mater, the Auburn tigers.
Rob is an experienced structural engineer that manages and designes the structural package for two large-scale design-build projects and many other traditional design-bid-build projects, including the design of systems and components comprised of structural steel, reinforced concrete and heavy timber. Rob has created detailed sections and framing plans using REVIT and AutoCad. He also has experience reviewing and coordinating structural designs for compliance with industrial equipment manufacturer requirements.
Robby is responsible for project conception and development, thus ensuring that all of the client’s goals are met. He is exceptionally skilled at front end planning, operational development and problem solving for various types of acute care facilities. Robby brings unique insight into building programs, costing models, market analysis, patient and staff flow patterns, and medical equipment utilization in order to increase operational efficiencies for clients in the healthcare sector. His ability to facilitate the design process with multiple team members on intricate projects coupled with his passion for healthcare architecture translates into a genuine commitment on each and every project undertaken by his team. Robby holds both a Bachelor of Science in Design and a Master in Design and Architecture from Clemson University.
Robert has been with Stevens & Wilkinson for over 30 years. Highly motivated and extremely detail oriented, Robert is responsible for the coordination of all office related functions and general administrative tasks. His knowledge of the region’s local vendors is un-matched, making him an outstanding member of our firm’s support team. When Robert is not at work, he enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Working in concert with the Director of Engineering and the firm’s architectural division, Robin specializes in the design of lighting, power distribution, communications systems, and fire alarm systems for clients in the education, government, healthcare, and corporate market sectors. A graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Robin has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and is a LEED accredited professional.
Chairman and one of the Managing Principals of Stevens & Wilkinson’s Atlanta office, Ron founded Stang & Newdow Architects in the early 1980s which combined practices with Stevens & Wilkinson in 2003. With over 30 years of architectural experience, Ron is an authority on the planning and design of governmental projects as well as higher education, mixed use, and hospitality projects. He is responsible for each project’s design concept, development, and technical integrity. He holds a Master in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and brings a renewed energy and focus to each project. Over the course of his career, he has built a reputation for his commitment to each and every client and project as well as his ability to maintain day-to-day involvement in the firm’s significant work. His stellar leadership capabilities combined with an invaluable keen insight are a recipe for delivering the best practical project and design for the client.
Scott’s responsibilities include electrical design, the development of CADD construction documents and job site inspections. Having worked on a number of projects for clients in the corporate, K-12, and cultural market sectors, Scott’s attention to detail and strong work ethic are only a few of the attributes that make him a joy to work with. Project highlights include the first Riverbanks Zoo Expansion, Columbia Museum of Art, Meridian Building, and the College of Charleston’s Simons Center for the Arts.
Shayla is responsible for overseeing all marketing and business development initiatives for the firm’s South Carolina office. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs, Mathematics and Education from Syracuse University and a Master of Mass Communications in Integrated Marketing Communication from the University of South Carolina. Shayla’s creative flair and positive energy, coupled with her strong experience in the Marketing and Communications field is what drives her passion for marketing the firm’s South Carolina’s design team.
Sherita is the accounts payable coordinator and is responsible for a wide range of tasks including reviewing all invoices for complete documentation and approval, processing payments to employees for expenses and advances, maintaining accounting numbers and assisting in monthly closings. With a high level of attention to detail and a strong ability to multi-task, Sherita is an integral member of the team.
Stephen is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University with a Bachelors in Architecture. He works with the architectural team to assist with the production of construction documents, preparation for presentations and creating 3D models using Revit. His outside interests include spending time with family and friends, outdoors adventures and fitness.
Steve provides over 40 years of expert electrical, plumbing and fire protection design, plumbing and fire protection engineering insight into every project. His leadership and smooth project coordination coupled with a natural ability to foster excellent client relationships is a recipe for high-level results.
A proud Clemson University alum, Ashby holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University’s esteemed School of Architecture. Joining Stevens & Wilkinson in 1983, Ashby has since been named President and Director of Architecture of the firm’s South Carolina office. As Director, Ashby reviews all projects undertaken by the firm and serves as Principal-in-Charge on a number of developments in the Corporate, K-12 and Higher Education sectors. Having worked on numerous project types in various industries, Ashby is heavily involved in developing the conceptual design and initial studies for the firm’s leading projects.
Tanya plays a key role in programming, project management, design, production of contract documents and contract administration on a broad range of building types. She has an excellent record of keeping project teams focused on project goals from conceptualization through final completion of construction. Tanya’s various attributes and accomplishments provide value to all phases of a project, from proposal development through completion. Tanya stays active in the community either playing clarinet in a local marching band or judging at local high school gymnastic meets.
With over 40 years of experience as an electrical engineer, Terry’s enthusiasm for his profession shows in each project he works on. Terry has a diverse background and has worked on all types of project including but not limited to healthcare, higher education, military and historic preservations such as the Wood Family cabin. Terry is an expert in lighting power distribution and systems design. Outside of work, Terry spends a lot of time playing with his grandchildren, participating in church activities and playing the banjo and guitar.
Tim is a performance and results oriented individual with experience providing services in programming, master planning, design, construction documents, and construction administration. Tim’s rich history includes managing teams for K-12 facilities, hospitals, churches, hotels, corporate and retail facilities, restaurants, and municipal, county and industrial buildings. Tim is a graduate of Clemson University’s School of Architecture where he received both his Bachelor of Arts in Design and a Master of Architecture.
Todd has a passion for creating places and spaces that address client goals and objectives. He does so in a manner that embraces and integrates technology, sustainability and community context. His expertise is backed by a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently specializes in the design of academic and public libraries, classroom and learning environments for higher education clients in the southeast. Todd is an active member of the Society for College and University Planning, serving as an advisory for the Facilities Planning Academy since 2008 and acting as 2010 Southern Regional Annual Conference Chair.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina’s College of Engineering and Computing and LEED accredited professional, Todd joined Stevens & Wilkinson as an Engineer-in-Training in 2002. As Civil Designer, Todd works in concert with the firm’s Director of Civil Engineering, on a number of projects in the higher education, healthcare and government market sectors. He assists with various storm water and sanitary sewer calculations, site design, on-site client meetings, and coordinates with technical review committees on several of the firm’s on-going projects.
Tom has been with Stevens & Wilkinson for over 38 years. He is a highly motivated and detailed oriented individual who is responsible for the organization and coordination of all office functions including purchasing and various administrative duties. Tom has a vast knowledge of vendor network and a strong ability to multi-task. Outside of work, Tom enjoys travel photography, writing and gardening. Tom also rides his bike to work every day and has logged over 15,000 miles with the Clean air campaign’s Georgia Community options program.
Vincent is the Human Resources Manager to Stevens & Wilkinson. He is involved in all aspects of human resources including onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, policy and procedures administration, as well as all payroll functions. Vincent received his B.B.A. in Managerial Sciences with a minor in Mathematics from Georgia State University. He is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. He is also a Certified Design Firm Administrator (CDFA) and is a member of the Society of Design Firm Administrators as well as currently serving on the National Certification Committee for the same organization.
Walt is a seasoned Healthcare Project Architect with experience working in both the public and private sector. An effective communicator and overall team player, Walt has successfully managed evidence-based designs that have met the time and budgetary requirements of each and every one of his clients in the healthcare sector. A results oriented individual, Walt has worked on numerous healthcare projects for major research hospitals, universities and government agencies. He specializes in acute care and technology driven projects and has a strong background dealing with building codes and site regulations. Walt has a Bachelor of Architecture from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from Iowa State University.
Wes brings over 30 years of experience in Mechanical Design to the firm. He manages all aspects of mechanical design for all projects for Stevens & Wilkinson, such as design specifications, construction documents, and the design and drafting of mechanical systems for Plumbing, HVAC and Fire Protection. A proud Gamecock and University of South Carolina alum, Wesley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University’s top ranking College of Engineering and Computing.
